A lot of my family take the mickey out of me for being a devoted fan of the Harry Potter books and films. I’ve read all 7 of the books (multiple times) and have devoured all of the films as well. And yes, I am 37 years old and should probably know better, but I just can’t help myself!

I’ve even got both of my kids into the Harry Potter films and books. My eldest daughter is 12 years old and she is a huge fan of Hermione Granger, and of course Emma Watson, the actress who plays her. For Christmas last year I bought her the official licensed Hermione Granger costume, and she absolutely loves it! It features the Gryffindor robe that she wears in the films. I also added on the official Gryffindor tie and scarf as well, just to make the costume that little bit more authentic. Its now become her favourite costume and it takes pride of place right at the front of her wardrobe.

Of course my son felt a little left out, so I have promised to buy him the Harry Potter robe as a present for his next birthday!
